Passion for Learning is a comprehensive program that builds partnerships between the business community and schools in order to make
learning, curriculum and passion come alive for every child. The program is targeted to elementary and middle schools characterized
by high rates of poverty, mobility and English as a second language. Its core elements are designed to support learning and student
success by bringing the real world into the schools and taking learning to the places where kids live. It also works to assist parent
in helping their children to succeed and in providing opportunities in the community for teachers and school staff to continue their
learning and growth.

The Human Service Institute is a national training and consulting organization that works to break down the barriers that keep people with
developmental disabilities from living normal "everyday" lives. Its innovative programs focus on the abilities in everyone rather than the
disabilities and work to open up the richness of community life to every citizen.
